Privacy Policy

This page explains what information this website collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers the website only. Client engagements are governed by the agreement signed for that engagement.

1. Who we are

Longview Solutions, LLC ("Longview", "we", "us") operates this website. If you have a question about this policy or about information we hold, contact us using the details at the end of this page.

2. Information you give us

We collect only what you type into the contact form:

  • Your name, work email address and company
  • Your role, if you choose to provide it
  • The practice area, budget range and timeline you select
  • Whatever you write in the message field

Nothing else on this site asks for personal information. There are no accounts, no newsletter signup and no gated downloads.

3. Information collected automatically

Our web server records standard request data: IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, and the time of the request. We use this to keep the site running and to diagnose faults, not to build a profile of you.

4. Cookies

This site does not set marketing or advertising cookies. If we add analytics later, this section will name the tool, describe what it records and state how to opt out before it is enabled.

5. How we use your information

  • To reply to your inquiry and to scope the work you asked about
  • To keep a record of the conversation so the right engineer can pick it up
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations if we enter into a contract

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list. If you ask us a question and we never work together, we keep the correspondence only as long as it is useful to answer follow-ups, then delete it.

6. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the business — website hosting, business email, and document storage. They process it on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

7. Retention

Inquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after the last exchange unless it becomes part of a client engagement record, in which case the engagement agreement governs retention. Server logs are kept for 90 days.

8. Security

Access to inquiry data is limited to the people who need it to respond. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send confidential specifications through the contact form — tell us what you are building and we will set up a secure channel for the detail.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, or to object to a particular use. California residents have these rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

To make a request, use the contact details below and describe what you want. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days.

10. Children

This site is intended for business use and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. International transfers

We work with clients and suppliers in more than one country, so information may be processed outside the country where you are located. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate contractual safeguards.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the homepage for 30 days.

13. Contact
