Product engineering & IT services

From first sketch to first shipment.

Most partners hand you a working demo and a roadmap. We hand you a production line. Longview takes hardware and software products from concept through volume — design, engineering, software and factory ramp, under one accountable team.

What we own

Four outcomes. One team accountable for each.

We aren't a bench you rent by the hour. Each engagement is scoped against a result you can measure — a shipped unit, a live system, a cost you no longer carry.

01 — PRODUCT ENGINEERING

Ship the product, not the prototype

Industrial design, mechanical engineering, DFM, tooling and volume production in one continuous path. So the thing you validated is the thing you ship.

Prototype turnaround measured in days Production ramp measured in weeks

02 — SOFTWARE & DATA

Make the software part of the product

Customer apps, device software, cloud services and the data pipelines behind them — built by the same team that builds the hardware, so the integration holds.

One architecture, not two vendors arguing One backlog from firmware to frontend
Explore software & data
03 — INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS

See and run the operation

Digital twin, PLM/PDM, MES and IoT telemetry that turn a factory floor into something you can observe, simulate and schedule instead of guess at.

Live plant model tied to real machines Process simulation before you commit capex

04 — DELIVERY MODEL

Extend the team, not the headcount

Senior engineers embedded in your sprints, on your tools, in your timezone — plus managed support once the product is live and the pressure shifts to uptime.

Embedded pods and staff augmentation Managed support after launch

AI & Generative Design

Generative design is easy. Machinable is the hard part.

We run topology optimization against the machines you already own. Not the machines a vendor wishes you had. The geometry is generated, validated in CAE, then regenerated for 3-axis or 2.5-axis capability before anyone quotes it.

01 · Generate

AI explores the design space

Loads, material and process limits go in as constraints. The algorithm returns topology-optimized and bionic structures that are hard to reach by hand.

02 · Validate

CAE proves it before it is cut

Every generated option is simulated against the original requirement. Nothing reaches a machine on the strength of looking right.

03 · Machine

5.7 → 3.0, still 3-axis

The same part, regenerated for 3-axis and 2.5-axis capability, with the CAM toolpath coming off the same model. Less mass, no machine upgrade.

How it runs

Evidence, not adjectives

Programs that reached volume.

These are the four figures we track across every engagement. Nothing here is a projection.

191

Clients served since 2014 — hardware companies, manufacturers, software vendors and independent designers.

200

Production orders delivered, from single samples to volume runs.

12M

Cost reduction across delivered programs, through manufacturability and tooling decisions made before the first mold was cut.

65,480 hours of client time saved is tracked separately — see the company page for the full set.

Selected work

What shipping looks like.

Three programs, three different constraints. Every figure comes from the job record — full write-ups live in the work index.

A positioning wristband built around a supplied positioning chip
Consumer electronics · One-stop

A positioning wristband, from chip to finished product in five days

A software company arrived with an electronic chip and asked for a complete product around it. Design, fabrication, post-processing and assembly ran as one service, with mold-based mass production following.

0.1 mm minimum precision · 5 days to finished product · SLA

A rapid sand-cast mold for a single turbine sample
Mold manufacturing · Turbine

One turbine sample that traditional casting could not justify

A turbine manufacturer needed exactly one part. We collapsed a multi-stage casting mold workflow into two steps and supplied sand molds that connect straight into their existing line.

0.02 mm minimum precision · 3–5 days lead time · sand

Plant equipment overlaid with digital twin status graphics
Digital factory · Solar manufacturing

A plant you can see, simulate and schedule

3D visualization of the factory, process management and equipment status management on our digital production platform — with a seamless link from design drawing to equipment code.

Three layers plant model · process routing · live machine status

How we work

You see something working before you commit budget.

Four stages, each with a deliverable you can hold. No stage bills you for discovery you could have done yourself.

01 / SCOPE

Two weeks, one workshop

A written plan with scope, fixed price and dates. If we're the wrong partner, we say so here.

02 / PROVE

A working slice in four weeks

A prototype, a pilot build, or one working vertical of the system. Real output, not a deck.

03 / BUILD

Embedded pod, weekly demos

Our engineers in your tools and rituals. You see progress every week, not at a milestone review.

04 / SCALE

Ramp, then hand over

Production volume, managed support, and documentation good enough that you don't need us forever.

Engineering

The DFM conversation you should have before the design review

Most cost is locked in before anyone asks the factory a question. Here is the fifteen-minute checklist that changes the number.

Operations

What a digital twin costs — and what it replaces

A twin isn't a rendering project. It's a decision-support system, and it should be priced against the decisions it changes.

Delivery

Embedded teams vs. staff augmentation: the math teams get wrong

One buys capacity, the other buys outcomes. Comparing them on rate alone is how programs quietly fail.
